Short answer: cheer class management software is the system that takes registrations, bills tuition and tracks class attendance for a cheer gym. The established US options are iClassPro, Jackrabbit Class, The Studio Director, ClassJuggler, Studio Pro and eSoft Planner, with published prices running from about 39 dollars a month to roughly 300 dollars a month depending on how many active students you have. None of them score tryouts, track USASF levels or run competition season, which is why most all star gyms end up running a second tool for their competitive teams.

A cheer gym is two businesses, and software vendors only sell you one of them.
The rec side is a class business: people sign up, you bill them monthly, you take attendance. The all star side is a team business: you hold tryouts, place athletes by level, build stunt groups and chase competition deadlines. Class management software is very good at the first job and does essentially none of the second. Recognizing that early saves a lot of demo calls.

| The job | Class management platform | Cheer team management |
|---|---|---|
| Online class registration | Yes, this is the core product | No |
| Recurring tuition billing | Yes, auto pay and payment plans | No |
| Point of sale and pro shop | Usually yes, often an add on | No |
| Waivers and family records | Yes | Athlete profiles and emergency contacts |
| Class schedule and attendance | Yes, per class | Per team, one tap per athlete |
| Tryout score sheets | No | Judged panels, weighted categories, auto ranking |
| USASF level and skill tracking | Rarely, and usually as class curriculum | Levels 1 to 7, per skill, per athlete |
| Stunt groups and positions | No | Flyer, base and back spot tied to the roster |
| Competition season | No | Deadlines, music, entries, bid tracking |
| Uniform sizing and resale | Sizes sometimes, resale no | Sizes on the profile plus a used uniform market |
To be explicit about our own side of that table: Cheerleaders is the right column. We do not take class registrations, run tuition billing or sell you a card reader. If collecting money is the problem you are trying to solve today, buy from the middle column and come back for the rest.
Cheer gym software pricing, taken from the vendors' own pages.
Search results for this topic are full of roundups quoting confident dollar figures for platforms that publish none. Everything below came from the vendor's own pricing page in August 2026, and where a vendor genuinely does not publish a number, the row says so instead of guessing.

Prices are the vendors' published US rates as of August 2026 and change without much notice. Payment processing is charged on top of every row above except ours, because we do not process payments at all. Our full breakdown of cheer software pricing across twelve platforms covers the team apps and league platforms as well.
Four line items that decide what you actually pay.
Active student count, not features
Most class platforms bill on how many students are active in a given month. A gym that grows from 150 to 400 athletes can move up two or three price bands in a single season without changing a thing about how it uses the software. Ask where the band boundaries sit before you sign, and ask what happens in your slow summer months.
Payment processing is the bigger number
Software might cost you 2,400 dollars a year. Processing at roughly 3 percent on 600,000 dollars of tuition costs 18,000. That is where the real money is, so compare processing rates harder than you compare monthly fees. Amilia, for one, publishes a 1 percent service fee on every invoice issued on top of card rates of 2.85 percent plus 30 cents.
Add ons that look like features
Branded mobile apps, website builders, advanced reporting and SMS packs are frequently listed as plan bullets and then billed separately. iClassPro's branded app, for example, is a 499 dollar setup plus 150 a month on top of the plan. Read every asterisk on a pricing page before you build a budget from the headline number.
Setup, migration and the annual discount
Some platforms charge a one time setup fee, some quote onboarding in the hundreds or thousands, and several print an annual rate next to a monthly label. Getting a year of family and payment history out of an old system and into a new one is also work somebody has to do, usually in the two weeks before your season starts.
Pick by which half of the gym hurts most.
A
Money is the problem
If families are paying late, registration is a paper form and you are chasing tuition by text, buy a class and billing platform first. iClassPro and Jackrabbit Class are the two most common answers in US all star gyms, and both do this job properly. Compare them against us honestly on the iClassPro alternative and Jackrabbit alternative pages.
B
The season is the problem
If billing is fine but tryout scores live in a spreadsheet, levels live in a coach's head and comp deadlines live in a group chat, a second class platform will not help. That is the team management gap, and it is the half we built. See what cheer gym software for owners covers on our side.
C
Both, on a small budget
Plenty of gyms run a lean class platform for money and a cheer specific tool for teams, and still spend less than one premium all in one tier. eSoft Planner or ClassJuggler plus our 199 dollar all star plan lands under most single vendor quotes, and each half is genuinely built for its job.
One more filter worth applying: ask every vendor to show you, live on the demo call, a judged tryout score sheet and a USASF level progression report. Most class platforms cannot produce either, and watching a sales engineer try is a faster answer than any feature grid. If you are still shaping the business itself, our cheer gym business plan guide works through the revenue mix these tools have to support.
Everything a class platform hands back to you in a spreadsheet.
Rosters and athlete profiles
One roster per team, with sizes, contacts, medical notes and level, readable on a phone at the gym.
Tryout score sheets
Judged panels with weighted categories that rank athletes automatically, so placements come from numbers you can show a parent.
Skill and level tracking
USASF levels 1 to 7 tracked per skill per athlete, so you know who is actually ready to move up.
Practice plans
Timed blocks and reusable templates your assistants can run without you standing there.
Competition season
Entries, deadlines, music and bids in one place instead of four inboxes.
Parent communication
Announcements that reach the contacts already on the roster, with a parent view that shows only their own athlete.
It is 29 dollars a month for a single team, 79 for a multi team program and 199 for an all star gym, with unlimited athletes and no setup fee. All of it runs in a phone browser, which matters more than it sounds when the person marking attendance is standing on a mat. If you want the coach's eye view first, the cheerleading team app page walks through a season from the sideline rather than the office.
What is cheer class management software?
It is the back office a cheer gym runs on: the class schedule, online registration, waivers and family records, recurring tuition billing and class attendance. It is built around classes and payments, which is why gymnastics, dance and cheer gyms all buy from the same short list of vendors.
What software do cheer gyms use?
In the US, most gyms run iClassPro, Jackrabbit Class, The Studio Director, ClassJuggler, Studio Pro or eSoft Planner. Bigger multi location operations sometimes use Amilia, Zen Planner or Gymdesk. Competitive teams are then usually run separately, because class platforms do not score tryouts.
How much does cheer class management software cost?
Published US prices in August 2026 run from about 39 dollars a month to roughly 300 for a large single location, almost always scaled on active student count. Payment processing sits on top at around 2.75 to 3.5 percent plus a per transaction fee, and it usually costs more than the software.
Do cheer gyms need separate software for classes and competitive teams?
Many do, on purpose. Class platforms handle registration and billing well but do not run judged tryouts, USASF level progression, stunt groups or competition season. Keeping a class platform for the rec side and adding a cheer specific tool for all star is a common and usually cheaper setup.
Does Cheerleaders handle class registration and billing?
No, and we would rather say so on this page than on a demo call. There is no registration checkout, no tuition billing and no point of sale. We cover rosters, attendance, tryout scoring, levels, practice plans, competition season and parent messaging. Tuition needs a class platform too.
What should I look for in cheer gym software?
How it prices as you grow, what the payment processing rate is, which headline bullets are actually paid add ons, and whether it can show a judged tryout sheet and a level progression report live on the demo. Those four questions separate the shortlist faster than any feature comparison.
