Cheerleading Equipment, New and Used, From Verified Programs.

Cheerleading equipment is the biggest program cost after uniforms. Here a 6 ft practice mat lists for $250 to $500, about half of new. Poms run $15 to $30 a pair, shoes $25 to $60, plus bags and game day signs, all sold by real cheer programs.

02 Know your mats before you buy

Mats are where used buying saves the most.

A new panel mat can run $700 or more with freight. Used mats from programs that upgraded their floor sell for half that, and the listing tells you size, thickness and how it ships.

Mat type Common size Thickness Used price here
Panel (folding) mat 6 ft x 12 ft 1.5 to 2 in $250 to $400
Flexi-roll mat 5 ft x 10 ft 1.5 to 2 in $280 to $450
Skill cushion / landing mat 5 ft x 10 ft 4 to 8 in $350 to $500
Incline (cheese) mat 30 in x 60 in wedge $180 to $320

Buying checklist

  • Check the photos for the seams. On panel mats the hinge seams wear first. Sellers must photograph them.
  • Confirm how it ships. Mats over 50 lb go freight or local pickup. The listing shows the option and the cost before you pay.
  • Money stays held. Payment sits with Cheerleaders until you confirm the mat arrived as described.

Equipment resale is a steady budget line for gyms: programs put the money into comp fees and floor time. More ways to fund a season in our cheerleading fundraising ideas guide.

1

Filter and ask

Filter by category and condition, then message the seller with questions. Sellers are programs, so answers come from a coach, not a bot.

2

Pay in the app

Cheerleaders holds the payment. The seller only gets paid after you confirm the gear arrived as described.

3

Receive and confirm

Small items ship with tracking in 5 days. Mats go freight or local pickup. Confirm delivery and the deal is done.

Quick answers

How do big mats ship?

Sellers choose freight or local pickup when they list, and the cost shows on the listing before you pay. Many mat sales end up as pickups within a few hours of driving.

Is the equipment new or used?

Both. Every listing carries a condition tag: New, Like new or Good. Anything used must have photos of actual wear, not catalog images.

Can I buy a single pair of shoes or poms?

Yes. Plenty of listings are single pairs from program overstock. Shoes run $25 to $60 and poms $15 to $30 a pair.

Marketplace access comes with every Cheerleaders plan, alongside rosters, tryouts and the season calendar. Plans start at $29/month on the pricing page.
