ClassJuggler Pricing: What Every Student Tier Costs a Cheer or Dance Program

Short answer: ClassJuggler prices on student count in twelve published steps, from $44.95 a month for 1 to 150 students to $99.95 a month for 1,901 to 2,200. Every step is exactly $5, and there are no setup fees. The detail that matters and that nobody quotes is the band widths: the first six steps each cover 150 students, the next five cover 200, and the last covers 300. So the effective cost per student falls from about 30 cents a month at 150 students to about 4.5 cents at 2,200. Two costs are not published: the Annual Maintenance Fee, which the page confirms exists but never prices, and the card processing rate.

Most write-ups of ClassJuggler pricing quote one number, usually somewhere around $44.95, and then describe the rest as rising "about $5 per 150 students". That is right for the bottom half of the ladder and wrong for the top half, and the error runs in the customer's favor, which is probably why nobody has bothered to correct it. ClassJuggler publishes the whole ladder. Here it is, read from the pricing page on September 3, 2026.

Students Price per month Band width Cost per student at the top of the band
1 to 150 $44.95 150 30.0 cents
151 to 300 $49.95 150 16.7 cents
301 to 450 $54.95 150 12.2 cents
451 to 600 $59.95 150 10.0 cents
601 to 750 $64.95 150 8.7 cents
751 to 900 $69.95 150 7.8 cents
901 to 1,100 $74.95 200 6.8 cents
1,101 to 1,300 $79.95 200 6.2 cents
1,301 to 1,500 $84.95 200 5.7 cents
1,501 to 1,700 $89.95 200 5.3 cents
1,701 to 1,900 $94.95 200 5.0 cents
1,901 to 2,200 $99.95 300 4.5 cents

ClassJuggler also groups those twelve steps into three marketing tiers on the same page: Emerging Schools up to 600 students starting at $44.95, Expanding Schools from 601 to 1,300 starting at $64.95, and High-Volume Schools above 1,300 starting at $84.95. The feature list printed under all three is identical, which is unusual and worth saying plainly: the tiers are a size label, not a feature gate. What you get does not change as you climb the ladder, only what you pay.

The band width detail, and why it matters more than the price

Every step on that ladder costs the same $5. What changes is how many students the $5 buys you. Below 900 students, $5 buys 150 more. Between 901 and 1,900, the same $5 buys 200 more. The last step buys 300. In practice that means the software gets cheaper per athlete every time the program grows, and it does so at an accelerating rate near the top.

For a cheer gym the numbers are small enough to be almost beside the point at the bottom of the table. A 300 athlete program pays $49.95 a month, which is less than one athlete's monthly tuition at most gyms. It only becomes an interesting figure if you are running a large multi-program facility with rec classes, tumbling, dance and all star teams on one roster, because that is where student counts pass 1,000 and where the per location vendors start charging by the building instead.

What is not in the subscription

Three things sit outside the monthly number, and one of them is a genuine unknown.

Item Published price Notes
Annual Maintenance Fee Not published Stated as charged once per year on all plans, upon completion of one year with ClassJuggler. The amount appears nowhere on the pricing page.
Customer Portal From $10.00 per month The family self-service add-on. Not part of the base subscription.
Custom training $50.00 per hour For one trainee, then $25.00 per hour for each additional trainee.
Merchant processing Not published Visa, Mastercard, Amex and Discover accepted. You may also bring your own processor. No rate is stated.
Bulk data import Not published Offered as a done-for-you migration service, quoted through support.
Setup fee None Explicitly listed as no setup fees, along with staff portal, enhanced reporting, unlimited support and unlimited admin access.

The Annual Maintenance Fee is the line to chase. A vendor that publishes a twelve step ladder to the cent, and then names a recurring annual charge without pricing it, has made the rest of the table less useful than it looks. If it is $99 it is noise. If it is a month of subscription it changes the comparison against Jackrabbit Class. Ask for the figure in writing before you compare vendors, because a subscription, a portal add-on and a once yearly fee all land in different months and are easy to lose track of unless the recurring software spend is categorized automatically rather than reconciled by memory at tax time.

How the ladder compares to the other billing models

The useful comparison in this market is not price against price, it is what the price is a function of. Four different answers are in play, and ClassJuggler sits at the friendliest end of the growth curve.

Vendor Price scales with Published entry price
ClassJuggler Total student count, twelve fixed bands $44.95, up to $99.95 at 2,200 students
Jackrabbit Class Total student count across all locations From $49, no charge per location
iClassPro Locations. Each plan is per month, per location. $139 Signature, $199 Elite, $299 Premium
Gymdesk Active members in bands, plus $50 per extra location $75 up to 50 members, $200 for 201 to 400
Amilia Flat tier plus 1 percent of every new invoice $99 Standard, $499 Advanced, cards 2.85 percent plus $0.30
SportsEngine Motion Transactions. No monthly subscription at all. $295 once, then 1 percent tech fee plus 2.9 percent and $0.30

Read the last two rows against the first. A program running $40,000 a month in tuition pays $400 a month on Amilia's 1 percent invoice fee alone, before the subscription and before card processing. The same program on ClassJuggler is paying somewhere between $44.95 and $99.95 depending on head count, plus an unpublished annual fee. The percentage models scale with your revenue; the student count models scale with your roster; and a roster grows a lot more slowly than tuition does once you raise prices. That is the structural reason a growing gym usually ends up better off on a count based ladder.

The one place ClassJuggler is not obviously the winner is against Jackrabbit Class, which starts at $49 and also bills on total student count with no per location charge. Those two are close enough that the decision comes down to the unpublished figures on both sides and to which product actually fits how a cheer program works, which is a different question from price.

Where a count based vendor still leaves a cheer program short

ClassJuggler is class registration and business management software sold to dance studios, gymnastics schools, swim schools and cheer gyms from one codebase. That breadth is why it is cheap and it is also the limitation. Nothing in the published feature list covers tryout scoring, USASF level tracking, stunt group assignment or competition season logistics, because none of those exist in a swim school. A gym running all star teams typically ends up with the registration and billing in a product like this and the actual cheer program living in spreadsheets and group chats.

That split is worth pricing honestly rather than pretending one tool does everything. The cheer class management software comparison lists what each of the nine vendors publishes, with prices read from source, and the ClassJuggler alternative page covers where a cheer-only platform differs. If you are running more than one building, the multi-location cost comparison works through what a second site does to each vendor's bill.

Frequently asked questions

How much does ClassJuggler cost?

ClassJuggler publishes a twelve step ladder priced on student count, from $44.95 a month for 1 to 150 students up to $99.95 a month for 1,901 to 2,200 students. Every step up the ladder is exactly $5. There are no setup fees. Figures read from the ClassJuggler pricing page on September 3, 2026.

Does ClassJuggler charge per student?

Not per student individually. It charges a flat monthly rate per student count band, so every program between 301 and 450 students pays the same $54.95. That makes the effective per student cost fall as you grow: about 30 cents per student per month at 150 students, and about 4.5 cents at 2,200.

Does ClassJuggler charge per location?

The published pricing page prices on student count only and says nothing about a per location charge, which is a different model from iClassPro, where each plan is stated as a price per location. ClassJuggler does not publish a multi-site policy, so a program with two buildings should get the answer in writing before signing.

What is the ClassJuggler Annual Maintenance Fee?

ClassJuggler states that all plans are charged an Annual Maintenance Fee once per year upon completion of one year with ClassJuggler. It does not publish the amount anywhere on the pricing page. That is the single largest unknown in this vendor's pricing and it should be asked about directly before you compare it to anyone else.

Does ClassJuggler have setup fees?

No. The pricing page lists no setup fees under All Plans Include, alongside a staff portal, enhanced reporting, unlimited support and unlimited admin access. Bulk data import is offered as a service but no price is published for it, so migration help is quoted rather than listed.

Is ClassJuggler cheaper than iClassPro for a cheer gym?

On the published subscription line, yes, and the gap widens with size. iClassPro starts at $139 a month per location. ClassJuggler at its largest published band, up to 2,200 students, is $99.95. The comparison is incomplete though, because ClassJuggler does not publish its Annual Maintenance Fee and neither vendor publishes a card processing rate.

Does ClassJuggler publish its credit card processing rate?

No. It offers merchant processing for Visa, Mastercard, Amex and Discover and says you can also use your own merchant processor, but no rate is published. That is normal in this market: iClassPro, Gymdesk and Jackrabbit Class do not publish card rates either. Amilia and SportsEngine Motion are the exceptions, and both charge a platform percentage on top.

The short version

ClassJuggler is one of the cheapest published subscriptions in this category and the ladder is unusually transparent, right down to the cent, with identical features at every tier. Two numbers are missing and both of them are recurring: the Annual Maintenance Fee and the card processing rate. Get those in writing and the comparison against Jackrabbit Class becomes a real one; without them, the $44.95 headline is a floor rather than a price. And if what you actually need is tryout scoring, skill progression by USASF level and competition season planning, none of the vendors on this page sell that, which is a product gap rather than a pricing one. Building the season around it is covered in our cheerleading practice plan and cheer team bonding guides.
