One app covers

01 The old way is five apps

Your season shouldn't live in spreadsheets, group chats and a folder of paper score sheets.

Most coaches run tryouts on paper, plan practices on Sunday nights, track comp deadlines in a personal calendar and resell uniforms in Facebook groups. Cheerleaders replaces that whole stack with one app your assistant coaches, athletes and parents can actually follow.

02 From spreadsheet to game day in one afternoon

1

Build your roster

Import athletes from any spreadsheet. Positions, levels and verified skills sit on every athlete card, so lineups build themselves.

2

Run tryouts and practices

Judges score from their phones onto one ranked sheet. Then drop your athletes into reusable practice blocks for the week.

3

Win the season

Every comp, deadline, packing list and score lives on one calendar your whole program can see. See what is inside the cheerleading team app, or read the step by step walkthrough.

Hands on

Coach an example squad for a minute.

Score a tryout, reorder Wednesday's practice, check the comp calendar. The screens are the real product; the squad in them is sample data, not a customer.

03 Compare it honestly

TeamSnap doesn't know what a scorpion is.

Generic team apps handle any sport, which means they handle none of the cheer-specific work: scored tryouts, skill progressions, comp-season logistics, uniform resale. Here is the honest comparison.

What you need Cheerleaders TeamSnap Sheets + chat
Digital tryout score sheets Ranked live, auditable No Paper + manual math

You might be thinking…

  • "My squad already lives in a group chat."

Keep the chat. Cheerleaders holds the structure a chat can't: scores, plans, deadlines, rosters.

  • "I don't have time to learn new software."

If you can fill in a score sheet, you can run it. Your first team imports from a spreadsheet in minutes.

  • "Is athlete data safe here?"

Encrypted in transit and at rest, role-based access you control, and athlete data is never sold. More in the FAQ.

The math for the program director

Work it out with your own figures. If a coach loses 5 admin hours a week at $25/hour across a 30-week season, that is $3,750 per coach, per year. The Program plan costs $948 a year. See the cheer gym software ROI page.

04 Pricing that fits the program, not the other way round

Talk to sales

Monthly billing, cancel anytime. One tryout day runs on 200 paper sheets or on Cheerleaders. See full cheer gym software pricing, or compare it against every other platform in our cheer software pricing breakdown.

05 Most of your athletes are minors. We build for that.

Athlete records that a parent, an AD and a district office can all live with.

A cheer roster is a list of children: names, ages, emergency contacts, sometimes medical notes. That is the most sensitive spreadsheet on your laptop, and it should not be on your laptop. Here is exactly how Cheerleaders handles it.

Parental consent

A guardian signs off before an athlete is active

Every athlete under 18 is added with a guardian contact. The guardian confirms by email, sees what is stored about their child, and can request a correction or removal at any time. Consent status shows on the roster, so you know who is cleared.

Who sees what

Medical notes are not team gossip

Access is role-based and per team. An assistant takes attendance without opening contact details; medical notes stay with the staff you name; a read-only AD role shows the season without letting anything be edited. Removing a coach removes their access in one click.

Storage and exit

Encrypted, never sold, always exportable

Data is encrypted in transit and at rest. Athlete data is never sold or shared with advertisers. Export your rosters, scores and season records to spreadsheet whenever you want, and deleting a program deletes its athlete records. Read the privacy policy.

In every plan

  • Unlimited athletes, levels and skill tracking on every roster
  • Weighted tryout score sheets with a timestamped judge log
  • Reusable practice blocks, attendance and automatic parent reminders
  • Season calendar: registration deadlines, packing lists, results log
  • Guardian consent records and role-based access to athlete data
  • Spreadsheet import and export, in and out, no lock-in

Whether you run a school cheer team, an all-star program or a multi-team cheer gym, the season runs the same way: one roster, one calendar, one scoreboard.
