Safety on Cheerleaders, How We Protect Athletes Under 18
Athletes under 18 are part of Cheerleaders only for college recruiting. Their profiles are run by a parent, hidden from the public and closed to every business.

Eight rules
How we protect athletes under 18
- A parent runs every profile under 18 The parent or guardian creates the profile with their own email address. Consent is stored with the date and the IP address. An athlete under 18 cannot sign up alone: a date of birth under 18 moves the form to the parent path.
- Not public, not searchable A profile under 18 is not in public search, not in the sitemap and has no public address. Only verified college coaches can open it.
- Never booked, never invited A profile under 18 cannot be invited to any offer and cannot apply to any offer. The rule sits in the data and in every request, so a crafted request is refused too.
- Contact only through the parent Businesses and private people cannot write to an athlete under 18. A verified college coach sends a contact request, and it goes to the parent, who decides whether to answer.
- No exact location No city, no school address, no social media and no precise location on a profile under 18. Only the state and the high school graduation year.
- Sports photos only, checked first Every photo is checked for format, size and proportions, and location data is removed. It waits as pending and anything doubtful is rejected. On profiles under 18, photos are visible only to verified coaches.
- Gigs are for adults only Every offer on the gig board is for athletes 18 and over. Adult age is confirmed on the profile with a date of birth and a statement.
- A sports portal, nothing else No suggestive or adult content anywhere. Offers and photos that do not belong on a sports portal are removed and the account is closed.
Adults on gigs
Good sense for every booking
- Read the whole offer before you apply: date, place, hours, outfit and pay are written there.
- Keep the first conversations in portal messages until you know the business.
- Stunts and tumbling need a safe surface and enough space. Ask about the floor before you agree.
- Never send money to get a gig. A real business pays you, not the other way around.
- Report an offer that looks wrong. We check it and hold it while we do.
Report a problem
Write to us with the address of the profile, offer or message and a few words about what happened. We review every report, hold the reported item while we check, and reply by email.
Can my child under 18 open an account alone?
No. When the date of birth shows an athlete under 18, sign up moves to the parent path. A parent or guardian creates the profile with their own email and a recorded consent.
Can a business see or book my child?
No. Profiles under 18 are not in the directory or on the gig board. They cannot be invited to an offer and cannot apply to one.
Who can see a profile under 18?
The parent who runs it and college coaches verified with a college .edu email. Nobody else, and there is no public page for it.
What if I see something wrong?
Write to [email protected] with the page address and what happened. A reported profile, offer or message is reviewed and held while we check it.
