Refund Policy
Payments for Cheerleaders plans are final. This page sets out the three cases where we do return a charge, how to ask, and how cancelling and renewals work. In effect from October 14, 2026.
1. Which payments this covers
This policy covers the paid plans sold on the portal: Athlete Pro, Recruiting Pro and the business plans. Free athlete profiles, parent recruiting profiles and college coach access cost nothing, so there is nothing to return on them. Gig pay is agreed and paid directly between a business and an athlete; we do not collect it and this policy does not apply to it.
2. How plan payments work
Every paid plan is a subscription billed in USD, monthly or yearly. Each period unlocks the features of the plan, such as gig posting for a business or the extra recruiting tools for a family, from its first day. The fee pays for that period of access, not for how many gigs you post, invitations you send or coaches you reach, so it is earned as soon as the period starts.
The pricing page shows what each plan includes before you pay. By subscribing, you ask us to start the service right away and accept that any statutory right of withdrawal or cooling-off period ends once the service has begun.
3. When we return a charge
Only these three cases qualify, each only when our records and the transaction record support it, and never for more than the charge concerned.
- A double charge. Our billing charged the same period twice because of a fault on our side.
- A charge nobody authorised. The card was used without the cardholder's permission, it is reported to us within 14 days of the charge, and the records confirm it. A statement on its own does not decide it. We may ask the cardholder to confirm that the misuse was reported to the card issuer.
- The portal was down completely. A confirmed fault on our side left the portal entirely unusable for a continuous period, it was reported to us while it was happening, and we could not fix it. Slow pages, a single feature not working and problems with your own device or connection are not included.
Any refund we agree to is limited to the amount paid for the affected period, goes back to the card that was charged, and is our whole liability for that charge. One refund does not lead to a right to another.
4. What does not lead to a refund
- A gig post drew fewer applicants than hoped, or none you wanted to book.
- An athlete or a business you connected with did not follow through on a gig.
- A college coach did not reply, or a recruiting season ended without an offer.
- The season ended, the team folded, an injury stopped training or plans simply changed.
- The account was not used during a paid period.
- The plan renewed because it was not cancelled before the renewal date, or it was cancelled just after.
- A renewal was collected on a retry after an earlier attempt failed.
- The plan was taken for a one-time payment. Every plan renews, which the pricing page, the checkout and the confirmation email all say.
- A bigger plan or a yearly term was chosen when a smaller or monthly one would have done.
- A feature you expected is not listed for your plan on the pricing page.
- Time left in a period after cancelling. The plan runs to the end of the period and is not pro-rated.
- Someone else used the account, including a teammate or family member who was given the login.
5. Asking for a refund
Email [email protected] from the address on the account within 14 days of the charge. Include the date and amount of the charge and which case in section 3 applies. Requests after 14 days or from a different address are not reviewed, and a decided request is not reopened.
Please come to us before the bank. A chargeback opened without contacting us first breaches our terms of service and the account is then closed permanently.
6. Cancelling, renewals and failed payments
You can cancel at any time in Billing in your account, with no need to write to us. Cancelling stops every later renewal straight away, and the plan stays active until the end of the period already paid. Cancelling is not a refund request.
Plans renew automatically until cancelled. A new period unlocks the plan and makes its fee due. If the card is declined, the fee is still owed and our payment operator tries again over the next few days; each attempt is for the same unpaid invoice, not an additional charge. Cancelling during those attempts stops the renewals that come after, but the invoice for the period that has already started stays payable. To avoid a renewal, cancel before the date shown in your account.
7. Records we keep
Before payment, the checkout shows the plan, the price, the billing period and the automatic renewal, and the confirmation email and the account show them again. Creating an account means accepting our terms of service, which include this policy and our privacy policy.
For every subscription we keep the purchase time, the plan and price at checkout, the acceptance of the terms, the emails we sent, renewal notices and an activity log of the account, including sign-ins, profile changes, gigs posted and messages sent. Our payment operator keeps its own record of each transaction, including the card's issuing country, where the payment came from and the result of bank authentication such as 3D Secure. Claims are checked against these records, and they are what we provide to a bank if a chargeback is opened.
8. Plans bought before this policy
A plan bought before October 14, 2026 stays under the terms that applied on its purchase date until its current period ends.
